Manzanita Burl Bowls 

These shrub-like evergreen trees grow underground root structures comprised of many smaller growths, often creating burls with exceptional figure and beautiful colors of red, yellow and orange.

Maple Burl Bowls

There are many different species of Maple including Big Leaf, Red, Silver, and Box Elder just to name a few.  The burl cap growths often have intense figure and color.

These maple bowls were produced from wood that I have personally harvested from fallen trees.  Occasionally I like to include some elements that show chainsaw marks or bark inclusions that showcase the entire process in the finished piece.
